Classical Latin appears to be without regional dialects, yet Latin evolved in little more than a millennium into a variety of different languages (the Romance languages: Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese etc.). Was regional diversity apparent from the earliest times, obscured perhaps by the standardisation of writing, or did some catastrophic event in late antiquity cause the language to vary? These questions have long intrigued Latinists and Romance philologists, struck by the apparent uniformity of Latin alongside the variety of Romance. This book, first published in 2007, establishes that Latin was never geographically uniform. The changing patterns of diversity and the determinants of variation are examined from the time of the early inscriptions of Italy, through to late antiquity and the beginnings of the Romance dialects in the western Roman provinces. This is the most comprehensive treatment ever undertaken of the regional diversification of Latin throughout its history in the Roman period.

This book is 3 things, a journal for retracing steps, a diary to record lessons and events as author was learning becoming a strong Christ-led spiritual man, and a devotional wring piece that the author uses to remember some of the many important promises the Bible has had for his life. This book is structured to make it easy to learn and try to comprehend the many values and depth spiritual lessons the Bible has to offer. This book is more of a personal testimony than just a replica of the holy word. This is the author's perspective as he was learning and being molded throughout his early stages of reaching strong spiritual principle through the foundation and guidance of God the father, Christ the son, and the long patience of the strong Holy Ghost and how they operated in his life. Let this book treat you with fresh scripture referencing and some subjects that can help you solve the mystery of God in your life. This is Christian inspired and meant to be appreciated by Christ focused truth seekers. Keeping as much of the truth intact with much of the dogma left out. Full of positive effects to his life the author invites you to taste the piece of God inspired words to embrace their newfound or enrich their already prolonged experience getting to know God in their lives. This book is recommended for mature audiences and should be supervised when read to children.
